Pathfinder Adventures exist as a ministry outreach to high school youth. Our concept involves exposing 21st Century teens to 18th Century colonial frontier cultural mores, physical labors and challenges. Our outdoor wilderness adventures, combine 1750’s trail treks, survival skills, and historical recreations. As a discipleship ministry, our emphasis will be to expose our participants to a Biblical world view.

As a Christian discipleship ministry, our primary focus is towards high school youth who have already made a Christian commitment. In other words, making disciples (followers, students) out of converts who will, in time, make other disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are a generation lost in our ever changing culture. Our foundations, though laid upon the “Rock”, have been corrupted by the religion of humanism. However the reality of Biblical Christianity is, that it remains “the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow”. To remain consistent in our historical interpretation, we focus our spiritual emphasis on those unchanging truths that were as relevant in 18th Century colonial America as they are today. Weekly Biblical discipleship is the focal point of all we do.

On the physical, emotional level, our participants learn the value of the specific physical labors, unique training and the day to day living experience of the colonial frontier. Being trained and experienced to build a fire with flint and steel and prepare meals that have not been refrigerated over that fire. Learn how to stay warm in sub freezing temperatures with no more than a simple wool blanket and an oil cloth. Participate in hourly night watches, taking responsibility for the restful and safe slumber of your team.
The proper "care and feeding" and safe handling of a reproduction, 250 year old flintlock musket.

These elements, among many others, make Pathfinder Adventures an exciting and challenging growth experience.
